Boundary disputes
The United Kingdom is becoming increasingly over populated and as house building continues so too will the inevitable problem of boundary disputes particularly in built up residential areas. Whether it is disagreement over a hedge and ditch, the construction of a new boundary fence, squatters rights or adverse possession we at Ross Coates Solicitors assist in uncovering the true position of the boundary, assist with any disagreement by way of mediation or arbitration meetings and if necessary seek declaration and or injunction proceedings through the Court.
Unlike older properties which have very defined boundaries sometimes even in feet and inches, new properties especially those registered with the Land Registry are defined as an address purely by reference to a plan which is then registered at H M Land Registry. Those plans are frequently amended by legal advisers and in any event are simply Ordnance Survey plans and therefore extremely unhelpful when attempting to define a boundary. We deal with all matters on a fixed fee basis, no by the clock rates and if we do not achieve a positive outcome for you there will be no charge. Owning your home should be a dream come true and let us at Ross Coates Solicitors help you keep it that way.
